Nice Pages. I was in the competition too and I was pretty annoyed at the set up. As you said Tom deserved to win but as I had spent 5 days straight working on the pages it was a bit of an insult to be judged on 1 page that was taken on an iphone by people that had'nt even bothered to read the script. But all in all your pages are excellent so keep it up.

Yeah,I remember your work, good to see you here at DA. I came across with Tom's work at the previous competition and I can safely state about the huge improvement of it.That was his third time competiting,Tom definitely worked upon the feedback he had from past experiences...he totally deserved it.
That said, we both agree that the panel was handled in a rather poor way. You can't judge a piece of storytelling by one page. But what can we say...they call the shots.
I'd tell you the same,don't give up.It's a long,dusty road.No one's sucess comes out of the blue:)

Well,it left a bitter taste in my mouth once the work was well praised by the painelists, mostly by Mr. Flint and the fact they judged the whole thing by the first page only certainly played against.
Though, one shall never doubt Mr.Foster talent. He deserved to win. Just wished they have had seen the whole work not only a fraction of it.
Whatever,I'm ready for the next:)
